The Ojikata Pottery Museum is a facility that aims to widely introduce the techniques and works of Ojikata-yaki, an important intangible cultural property, and the Ojikata-yaki Village, an important cultural landscape, as well as to contribute to the preservation and promotion of Ojikata-yaki as a craft.
In the exhibition room, works of Oshikada-yaki from the Edo period to the present are displayed, and the history and characteristics of Oshikada-yaki, an important intangible cultural property of Japan, are explained in an easy-to-understand manner, while the important cultural landscape "Oshikada-yaki no Sato" is also introduced.
