Oita Sports Park
In addition to football, rugby and athletics, it is a comprehensive stadium that hosts a variety of events and has been chosen as the venue for various international competitions, including the 2002 World Cup Football Tournament and the Rugby World Cup 2019 in Japan.
The Main Dome was designed by architect Kisho Kurokawa, and its exterior, with its retractable roof, is based on the motif of a sphere, with part of the sphere in contact with the earth. It harmonizes with the surrounding mountains and forms a beautiful silhouette with a sense of unity with nature.
