Young trumpeter Ryumei Edatsugu is active in his hometown of Oita. A one-night-only special jazz concert, "Ryumei Quartet LIVE," was held at the jazz cafe Neima in Magari, Oita City, which has been loved by professionals and amateurs alike for over a quarter of a century. The jazz quartet consisted of talented professional musicians with whom Ryumei Edaji has a close relationship. It was a special night of cool and moody performance.

The Hat Bar”is a long-established jazz club in Berlin. It's a song full of Berlin's active but traditional style.
The Hat Bar A metaphor for a jellyfish drifting in the ocean, wandering through a network of vast amounts of information. The sound of the flugelhorn, an instrument he changes, is remarkable.

The image of the cat “Chilly”, a charming signboard cat of jazz cafe Neima. The beginning of the song is like a cat's meow…?

This is a song about a slope with a scent of Chinese rhinoceros, which was the way to school in high school. It's a place with a lot of memories.

Tatsuaki Edatsugu (Trumpet)

 Saaya Matsumoto (Piano)
Born in Miyakonojo City, Miyazaki Prefecture in 1991, Saaya began playing the piano at the age of three. She started playing the piano at the age of 3. Influenced by her music-loving parents, she was exposed to a variety of music regardless of genre, and became interested in jazz at the age of 18. After graduating from high school, he moved to Fukuoka to study jazz. He is currently active in the Fukuoka area. He is also the pianist of the big band "Advanced Music Gallery" and in 2015 and 2016, he recorded for vocalist & flugelhorn player Mr. TOKU's "Dear Mr. SINATRA" and participated in the tour of Kyushu. Kyushu tour.In 2018, he was chosen as one of the "Nananin no Pianist" for Cruise Train Nanatsusei in Kyushu.  
Hideo Kimura (bass)
Born in Saiki City, Oita Prefecture. For 27 years in Tokyo, he performed in studios, on TV, and in live performances with musicians of various genres. Currently based in Oita, he is active in a wide range of genres as an electric and acoustic bass player.
Takashi Sugawara (Drums)
Born in Fukuoka in 1976, Sugawara has been active as a freelance drummer since the age of 20, appearing at live houses and events all over Japan. He has earned a high reputation through his collaborations with many musicians.

MESSAGE



In jazz, there are elements of improvisation, and it's completely different depending on the person playing. I would like you to experience the sound that can only be found there and the sound that keeps changing.
